1. Jon Moxley Arrives

When AEW's Twitter account produced a graphic for their new TNT show that had suspicious echoes of Monday Nitro's fabled launch, it became apparent just how much the group were prepared to steer into it. It was thus hard not to think of Scott Hall as the re-rechristened Jon Moxley defiantly marched through the crowd with chaos in mind.

A thunderous ovation welcomed the former Dean Ambrose as he decked Chris Jericho and the referee and went to war with Kenny Omega for the first glimpse of the group trying to tie together two men from different worlds for the first hypothetical dream match.

The pair scuffled and scrapped through the crowd all the way to the giant poker chips that blew what remained of the prop budget after Cody had paid for his penis extensions, but this was at least used for the good of the future rather than taking pithy potshots at the past. Moxley smashed Omega into the stack and then threw him off them through the stage below.

Kenny's plunge (and Moxley's subsequent triumph) was how the show went off the air - a wrestler had picked another company outside of WWE to earn his living. After Night One, with others follow suit?
