8 Annoying Traits WWE Stars Need To Stop RIGHT NOW

5. Byron Saxton's Childlike Optimism

Then, there's Byron Saxton, a 36-year old man who plays the part of an overexcited 10-year old behind the announce desk on SmackDown.

Everyone has to find their niche, yes, and Saxton can be palatable when he's trading barbs with Corey Graves or picking up on storyline nuances Tom Phillips may have missed. Those instances are fleeting compared to his incessant need to cheerlead, talk like he's fresh out of nursery and generally play the childlike optimist however.

If Byron toned down the childish elements of his character and focused on being a fairly happy-go-lucky colour man who genuinely sees the good in people, he'd be more tolerable on Tuesday nights. In fairness, his chirpy personality is well-suited to the role of third man. It's just a bit OTT.

It'd also be nice to see him fire back with a bit more vitriol at Graves, because that'd bring the best out in Corey too. Byron doesn't need to sit there in a sulk when he's in the right.
