8 Awesome NXT Entrances WWE Made Uncool

4. Aleister Black

Similar to Neville, Aleister Black spent a solid two years in NXT and was positioned as one of the faces of the brand while there. From capturing the NXT Championship to winning the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Ricochet, he had a pretty successful stint all things considered.

His very first entrance that saw him rise from the floor (complete with candles illuminating his way to the ring) stole fans' breath away at TakeOver: Orlando and immediately made them imagine what it would look like on a stage such as WrestleMania.

When he eventually made his way to Raw in February 2019, he wasted no time in making an impact by beating Elias, except it was evident WWE wanted to put their own twist on his unique entrance.

Despite his rise from the floor being perfect as is, WWE added in the loud sound of a creaking board as if he was Frankenstein's monster being brought to life. Thankfully, they left the candles and everything else about his awesome theme alone, but that board noise comes across as phony and forced.

It isn't a career-killer, mind you, but the unnecessary effect does kill the ominous vibe if only a little bit when his music hits.
