Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the few men in WWE history who cemented his star status with a single entrance. Seriously, this dude had an entire crowd chanting expletives after making his way to the ring for the first time at NXT TakeOver: Dallas.

For the remainder of his run in NXT, Nakamura was wildly popular and had thousands of fans singing his theme song even after his entrance had ended. Fans figured it'd be virtually impossible for him to not be beloved right out the gate on the main roster.

Sure enough, he received a raucous reaction the night he arrived on SmackDown Live immediately following WrestleMania 33.

His loss at WrestleMania 34 was a turning point in his career, as he hasn't been the same since going heel. While he appears to be more comfortable in his new role, the turn put a screeching halt to any momentum he had and caused him to lose what made him special in the first place.

With the change of character came a remixed version of Nakamura's addictive theme song, which eliminated any opportunity for fans to sing along. Then again, his entrance was already so watered down from what it was in NXT that it almost didn't matter that WWE altered it entirely.
