8 Awesome NXT Entrances WWE Made Uncool

2. Ricochet

It's almost sad to see how much WWE has changed Ricochet within the span of one year. Not everything about his Raw run has been been disappointing (lest we forget he held the United States Championship for a month and boasts a better win-loss record than most), but the presentation of his character has been especially cringeworthy to watch.

In NXT, his iconic "one and only" intro followed him looking up at the lights surrounded by lasers was, for lack of a better word, epic.

The electrifying entrance stuck for his entire NXT run, only to be tweaked once he arrived on the Raw roster earlier this year. In what can't be considered a coincidence, the sound of a bullet ricocheting was added to the beginning of his theme, totally ruining its cool factor.

Sometimes, Vince McMahon's desire to add random lines and noises to a Superstar's entrance can be beneficial (see: Seth Rollins' "Burn It Down"), but more often than not, they sound stupid and this incident with Ricochet's is no exception.

The intro being cut from his entrance recently hasn't helped matters, either.
