8 Awesome NXT Entrances WWE Made Uncool
1. Bobby Roode
Perhaps the most amazing part of Bobby Roode's "Glorious" entrance in WWE is that it was so vastly different than what he had while he was with TNA, yet it fits him to perfection. Some fans weren't sold on the song when he debuted in NXT with it in August 2016, but the audience in attendance at TakeOver: Brooklyn II singing along with the lyrics was too loud to ignore.
He had everything going for him heading into his debut on SmackDown Live in August 2017, but as excited as fans were to see him the night of his arrival, that wasn't an excuse to bring him up as a babyface. The honeymoon phase with crowds cheering for his entrance music lasted for about a month or two, but once that was over, he was just a guy with a glorious theme and no character development.
Shockingly enough, it was two years before WWE finally turned him heel, but by that point, it was too late. Crowds ceased caring about his walk to the ring long ago, and considering "glorious" is apparently the only word he ever incorporates into his promo, it's safe to say Roode is far from the fan favorite he once was.
