The WWE Draft last summer was supposed to grant more opportunities to roster members who were previously overlooked. That's a good thing, right? After all, splitting the locker room right down the middle would allow more TV time to create new stars. Then, WWE booked Darren Young vs. Titus O'Neil Part II.

If WWE ever release a dictionary, then this second act of The Prime Time Players going at it would surely file under 'filler'. Worse was seeing an ageing Bob Backlund involved, screaming his head off back and forth with Titus as they argued over who had done the most for Young's career. Meanwhile, fans took the chance to visit the toilets or check out the merchandise stalls.

It wasn't only that Young vs. O'Neil was bad, there was just no demand for it. WWE had already penned a split story between the pair in 2014, so there was really no need to do it all over again, especially not when the company were shouting about a 'New Era' running rampant on Raw and SmackDown.
