8 Awful WWE Feuds That Choked The Life Out Of Fans

1. Triple H Vs. Scott Steiner

Had Scott Steiner of 1992 been able to launch a singles career in WWE, then he'd surely be a headliner. Combine his athletic ability then with the 'Big Poppa Pump' character introduced in the late-90s and you'd have one of wrestling's best on your hands. By 2003 though, Steiner's relentless ring style had weakened his body and he was a pale shadow of his former self.

Steiner wasn't the only one going through problems, because Triple H was nowhere near the level he had been in 2000-01 either. A nasty quadriceps injury had forced 'The Game' to change his style, and those issues (alongside Scott's own injuries, including drop foot) meant they could never have the matches fans deserved.

Both bouts between the pair at Royal Rumble and No Way Out 2003 were horrendous. Fans had wanted Steiner during the WCW 'Invasion' over a full year prior, and this is a match that might've worked then, but the feud straight up sucked in '03.

WWE should have abandoned plans following the Rumble, because it was blatantly clear that the combo of injuries, a lack of chemistry between the duo, and the plodding nature of the match wasn't cutting it.
