8 Best Choices For The Undertaker's Final Opponent

From longtime rivals, to young stars who could use the boost.

When The Undertaker lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, it felt like the end of the road for him. The Streak was gone, and it seemed that maybe The Dead Man just couldn€™t go in the ring anymore. After a year away, though, he came back to face Bray Wyatt and actually looked better than in his match against Lesnar the year before. Still, time catches up to everyone and at 50-years-old, and a history of serious injuries, there aren€™t many matches left for Undertaker. There€™s no guarantee he€™ll even come back next year for Mania, but with WWE hoping to draw over 100,000 fans in Texas, Taker€™s home state, they€™re sure to make him a big offer for one more (final?) ride. Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels receivved tremendous final send-offs in recent WrestleManias, so you can only imagine that Vince McMahon would want to do the same for his favorite gimmick of all time. But who on the roster is worthy enough to take on Undertaker in his last match? It's a huge honor that only a select few would be considered. Sure, he may go on for a few more years, but it's also quite possible next year's Mania will be his last ride. From longtime rivals, to young stars who could use the boost, these are the best choices for Undertaker's final opponent.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
