8 Best Choices For The Undertaker's Final Opponent

8. Bray Wyatt

It was a strange year for Bray Wyatt between WrestleMania 30 and 31. After losing his feud with John Cena, his character suffered, his stable broke up and it seemed that WWE had no clue what to do with him. As it got closer to Mania 31, he was finally being protected again and given wins over Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler. The company was building him up for a match with The Undertaker. It felt like a natural fit. It started off well, as Wyatt looked rejuvenated and cut some great promos against Taker over the past few months. The problem is, Taker never responded. He showed up at Mania, the two had a decent match (it was hurt by an ankle injury to Wyatt) and two Tombstones later it was over. But it doesn€™t have to be. Wyatt may not be the most exciting pick for Taker€™s last opponent right now, but give him some more wins, let his character grow some more, and have him keep taunting Taker on the microphone. He could easily sell one final showdown between the two, and with some more momentum on his side, he could make it something to look forward to. If Taker was going to put someone over clean on the way out, there€™s few better choices than the 27-year-old Wyatt. Next time, though, let both of them talk!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
