8 Best Choices For The Undertaker's Final Opponent
2. Brock Lesnar
So how exactly does The Undertaker feel about losing his streak to Brock Lesnar? We dont know, as WWE didnt have him say a single word all year about it. It was kind of tough to get emotionally invested in Taker vs. Wyatt, because we never found out why he didnt just ask for a rematch to avenge his loss. Right now, this match might be difficult to book, as Brock looks slated to become a babyface when he returns. WWE doesnt have to go that route, and could keep him a heel who is now on a mission to put Undertaker out for good. He wants to be rememberd as ending The Streak, and his career. It could end up being the easiest story to write between all the choices, though from an in-ring standpoint, it could also be a bit rough. However, Taker did appear to be in better physical shape this year compared to last year, and he hopefully wouldnt suffer another concussion in a rematch. Maybe he wants to prove that he can have a great match with Lesnar, and the two just need another shot at it. If he pinned the former UFC champ, it would be the ultimate act of redemption, and give the last outlaw that final, great ride off into the sunset.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
