7. Joey Janela's Spring Break (Thursday 30th March)

Curated by independent wrestling madman Joey Janela, this show promises to be an absolute hoot. Built around an “MMA Superfight” between former UFC fighters Matt Riddle and Dan “The Beast” Severn, Spring Break probably won’t be packed to the gills with Match of the Year candidates, but its fun factor shall be hard to top.

Janela himself will face his “dream opponent” Marty Jannetty in the main event, and it all started with a fake GoFundMe campaign late last year. Earl Hebner is also set to appear as a run-in on a referee bump (“because we can’t afford to pay him for a full match”), the GCW Championship shall be contested in a hard-hitting brawl between Matt Tremont and Eddie Kingston, and indie darlings Keith Lee and Lio Rush will collide early in the show.

Spring Break’s most ridiculous match is also its most appropriately named. The “Clusterf***” will feature over a dozen competitors including WCW’s Glacier, Dink the Clown, and an invisible man. If it sounds like an absolute shambles, that's because it will be: just sit back, enjoy the insanity, and reveal in what should be the week's weirdest match.
