8 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE Survivor Series 2017

This year's Survivor Series card looks excellent. Each bout has at least some intrigue, and while only a handful look like potential workrate-centric classics, there are countless hooks to hold the audience's attention throughout the lineup.

Except Baron Corbin vs. The Miz, which sticks out like a turd in a punchbowl.

'The A-Lister' is one of WWE's greatest entertainers, and an underrated in-ring competitor, but it'd be a stretch to call him an elite worker. His opponent, meanwhile, is one of the least engaging guys in the company. Corbin looks good when paired with a smaller, more athletic competitor who'll make him look great through expert-level selling, but Miz isn't that guy, and there's a strong chance their match will drag the show down.

The build has been non-existent, too. Corbin is more concerned with Sin Cara on SmackDown, barely acknowledging the upcoming bout, while The Shield have occupied Miz's attention on Raw. Credit to them for cutting a couple of great social media promos last week, but that's all we have.

Fingers crossed they go all out and defy our modest expectations, but it doesn't look likely.
