8 Biggest Disappointments Going Into WrestleMania 31

2. Randy Orton Vs Seth Rollins Was Nearly Ruined

This kind of thing really makes you wonder if the creative department know what they're doing. We all knew we were getting this match when Orton returned at Fastlane, and it should have been the easiest thing in the world to set up. Randy was The Authority's golden boy, usurped in his role by Rollins, took on the role of renegade against them, and was taken out by Rollins and betrayed by Triple H and Stephanie. Now he's back, and he's out for revenge against his former masters and their chosen champion, Seth Rollins. It's an age old story, and it should be harder to get this wrong that it is to get it right. But get it wrong they did, as in the course of the past month, WWE almost succeeded in taking all of the wind out of this storyline's sails by having Randy inexplicably rejoin The Authority for a spell. To what purpose did this serve? We all knew Orton wasn't going to forgive and forget, we knew that this fight was coming, so why put a gigantic speedbump on the road to Wrestlemania? Would it not have made more sense to have Orton constantly sabotage Seth's every endeavour between then and now? Would it not have made more sense to pit himself against The Authority from the start? The revenge storyline has been done before, but the reason for that is it always works so well. Taking this storyline the way they did has crippled it's momentum going into Wrestlemania, and it is a real shame
