Some people just aren't great drivers. Maybe they occasionally speed or have no idea how to parallel park, it's not the end of the world, you can't be great at everything. The problem for Jon Jones is, he's more than just a bad driver. His repeated infractions at the wheel have earned him a rap sheet akin to Jay-Z's discography.
A little over a year after his historic victory over Shogun Rua at UFC 128, Jones crashed his $250,000 Bentley Continental into a lampost after a night of partying, leaving his two female companions hospitalised with minor injuries. Jones would be taken into custody after refusing a roadside sobriety test and would later plead guilty to driving while intoxicated.
Jones would again find himself on the wrong side of the law in March 2016, when he was pulled over by a police officer for a traffic stop. Not known for his patience, Jones wasted no time calling the officer a 'f**king liar' and a 'pig' in a confrontation recorded on the policeman's bodycam. Following the incident, Jones would be required to take anger-management lessons for violating his probation.
