8 Biggest Mysteries Still Surrounding WrestleMania 34

6. Is Shane McMahon Healthy?

Shane McMahon will return to WWE SmackDown following an apparent bout with diverticulitis tonight. If legit, it's a startlingly quick recovery from a medical condition that effectively forced Brock Lesnar's first MMA retirement in 2011, and suggests that there might actually be something to the company's presentation of him as the hardest man in wrestling.

That's if the illness is legit, of course. Internet rumours suggest that the whole thing may just be a rib on the soon-to-depart Brock, who's widely thought to be heading back to the UFC after WrestleMania 34. If it's a work, then Shane should be free to team with Daniel Bryan in New Orleans, but if not, it's hard to imagine him making the show.

We'll find out more on SmackDown, but if Shane's out, WWE have another re-booking job on their hands. They could have Bryan face Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn one-on-one, turn it into a Triple Threat, find another partner, or scrap it entirely. Plenty of options, but each hinges on McMahon.

Bryan's return has breathed life into this once turgid storyline. Shane's inclusion makes the most sense from a narrative standpoint, so here's hoping he's okay.
