8 Biggest Mysteries Still Surrounding WrestleMania 34

5. Will We See The Rock?

As the biggest mainstream crossover star in wrestling history (and a guy whose affinity for the business remains), The Rock is somebody WWE will turn to for hype generation purposes time and time again. He's a WrestleMania fixture, too, having shown up at six of the past seven shows, and recently had his odds slashed for New Orleans.

Some betting sites are now offering odds as favourable as 1/100 on 'The Great One' showing his face. Regardless, it's not a dead cert, as Rocky was nowhere to be found at WrestleMania 33, and hasn't been advertised.

Still, if WWE do have Rock make an appearance, it'll be interesting to see what they do with him. The last thing we need is the Hollywood star repeating his six-second burial of Erick Rowan from 'Mania 32, but perhaps the company will attempt to have him take the sting off Roman Reigns' inevitable coronation. This didn't work at the 2015 Royal Rumble, but this is WWE: since when have they been ones to learn from past mistakes?

A match seems unlikely, given his movie career, but a surprise appearance would draw an ear-splitting pop.
