8 Biggest Mysteries Surrounding WWE In 2016

2. Will There Be Another Brand Split?

With the debut of new SmackDown play-by-play man Mauro Ranallo, talk of WWE's 'B-show' branching off in a different direction has resumed. Will Smackdown firmly establishing itself as a separate entity to Raw once more? Tonal shifts are all well and good, but as long as the same superstars compete on both Raw and SmackDown, the latter will continue to be viewed as a diluted, easily-missable substitute. A brand split would help solve this, and give some of the more neglected members of the WWE main roster a greater chance to shine (particularly with regards to the divas division). It would also shake up the general landscape of the company, at a time in which their televised product has become noticeably stagnant.
