Last year, WrestleMania seemed to be in big trouble. Roman Reigns' victory at the 2015 Royal Rumble (and subsequent defeat of Daniel Bryan to cement his place in the 'Mania main event) threatened to turn WWE's biggest show of the year into a mass mutiny by the WWE Universe. The day was saved thanks to an ingenious piece of booking (Seth Rollins' dramatic cash-in) and the company reminded us that, for all the criticism it invites on a regular basis, it resides at the top of the wrestling world for a reason. The show, on the whole, was very well received. However, as WrestleMania approaches once more, the Grandaddy of Them All looks to be in trouble again. Injuries to Seth Rollins and John Cena have forced WWE to scrap their 'Mania plans entirely - reportedly changing six set-in-stone matches in the process. Time will tell whether WrestleMania can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat for a second successive year, although Vince McMahon would be forgiven for gnawing every one of his fingernails off in the meantime.
