8 Booking Steps For The Perfect WWE Survivor Series 2017 Card
2. Maximising The Men's 5-On-5
The only thing we know about this year's men's 5-on-5 elimination match is that Randy Orton is in on the blue side, and Sami Zayn is out. WWE have set up two more qualifying matches for next week, with Bobby Roode facing Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura wrestling Kevin Owens, and we'll likely get a couple on Raw too. For now, though, we only have the one name, and no idea who the captains will be.
Maximising the match is key, as it'll be one of the night's most prominent bouts. This means cramming it with as many blockbuster names as possible, so adding Nakamura and Roode makes sense for SmackDown, with AJ Styles taking another slot.
There are plenty of options for Raw, too. Roman Reigns is a no-brainer if he heals in time, and the same goes for Samoa Joe. The Miz could likely be persuaded to join, given his hatred of Daniel Bryan, and Finn Bálor would make a great addition too.
As far as captains go, there's plenty of tension simmering between Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle at the moment, so why not let the authority figures lead their respective sides into battle? It'd be a fun throwback to their King Of The Ring 2001 classic, provided nobody gets thrown through a pane of glass...
