8 Booking Steps To Save The WWE Cruiserweight Title

1. Bring Back Neville

It's anyone's guess what went on behind the scenes between Neville and members of WWE management a few months back. The Englishman is still on hiatus and there's been no recent indication that he's on the comeback trail. If both parties can sort out their issues, he'd be the ideal candidate to save the Cruiserweight Title.

Neville reinvented himself in the division, saved his flagging main roster career and became one of WWE's best characters overnight. He can be that again as a babyface, only this time stripped of the awkward smiles that ruined his first attempt.

Just think of the matches he'd have against a reborn Cedric Alexander without any in-ring limitations or silly angles to bog them down.

Once Cedric has won the title and possibly turned heel, he could brag that there's no-one left to beat. That's when Neville's music would play, signalling the return of a king. WWE don't need to change anything about Neville's act for him to be default babyface either, because fans would be happy to see him.
