8 Brave Booking Steps WWE Have Already Taken In 2018

1. Showing Braun Strowman's Lighter Side

There will be fans who detest WWE's decision to turn a monster like Braun Strowman into a comedy-character who plays musical instruments and goofs around with Alexa Bliss during the Mixed Match Challenge. Though that's understandable, it's important to remember that Braun exists in a company fascinated by presenting talent as "entertainers".

It's also clear for anyone to see that Braun's light-hearted real-life personality is worth projecting on screen. Look up Strowman's Vine collection to see a giant who is downright hilarious when he's acting like an audition tape for Jackass.

Braun is branching out as a performer. Does this sit snugly alongside sporadic vehicle flips and bad-ass beatdowns? Probably not, but this is WWE, and in Vince McMahon's world it's vital that performers show their versatility.

As much as WWE run the risk of ruining Strowman's aura by booking him like a clown, they've also stumbled upon natural charisma many in the fanbase have never seen before.
