7. Kane's WWF Championship Reign - 19 Hours
Despite being with the company since 1995, Kane has only held the company's top title once, which he won in a First Blood Match against Stone Cold Steve Austin at King of the Ring 1998. The following night on Raw, the 'Rattlesnake' took his title back, which left Kane without another world title win again until 2010.
Not content with just giving Kane a short title run and keeping world championships from around his waist for years, the First Blood Match itself was marred with issues that made Kane's victory seem like a joke. There was no way Kane could lose because he wore a mask, yet he only won because of outside interference. Kane's only successful match for the WWF title was full of shenanigans, which made it look like he couldn't win on his own merit.
