8 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (Nov 16)

2. Will There Be A Traditional Survivor Series Match?

Since its inception in 1987, Survivor Series has hosted more than 70 traditional elimination matches, taking place at every PPV except one, then 1998 edition that featured a tournament to crown a new WWF Champion (sound familiar?). We€™re in danger of seeing the second such Survivor Series without an elimination match, and it€™s really just dumb. WWE had a tailor-made four-on-four bout in the making with the Wyatt Family and Undertaker/Kane feud, but they€™ve decided to blow that off as a tag match. With that, three tournament matches and a Divas Championship match on the card, there€™s room for an elimination match, but it would need to develop on Monday. That€™s an awfully quick turnaround for that, unless they just throw four tag teams out there in a match. We saw how exciting a Survivor Series elimination match can be a couple weeks ago on Raw when Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins captained their own teams to main event Raw. It had fans rocking throughout the match and even sowed the seeds of an Intercontinental Championship feud between Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose. But now the 2015 edition of Survivor Series might not even have its signature match.
