8 Candidates To Induct Randy Savage Into WWE Hall Of Fame

4. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat

Their match at WrestleMania 3 is still talked about as, perhaps, the greatest of all-time, nearly 18 years after it happened. It helped propel both men to worldwide superstardom, and helped them both move on to the main event level, with Randy Savage winning his first WWF Title a year later, and then Ricky Steamboat winning his first NWA World Title the year after that. When you think of Randy Savage's in-ring work with the WWF, you automatically think of Ricky Steamboat, and that type of connection would be easy to take advantage of here. Announcing Steamboat as the man who will induct Savage into the Hall makes sense, and it would get a nice pop. "The Dragon" remains over with WWE crowds whenever he makes sporadic appearances on television. Steamboat was never known for his promos, but he doesn't need over-the-top speaking mannerisms to deliver a good, entertaining Hall Of Fame speech. He has always been very well-spoken and intelligent, and there is no doubt he could more than hold his own up on stage with the spotlight shining on him.
