5. Lanny Poffo

In the WWF, he was known as The Genius or "Leaping" Lanny Poffo. Everywhere else, he was simply Randy Savage's younger brother. That makes him as qualified as anyone on the planet to be the one who inducts Randy Savage into the Hall. The one thing that could definitely prevent this from happening is Lanny's relationship with WWE in the years since his brother passed away. Lanny has done numerous interviews where he mentioned how poorly his brother was treated, at times, and how upset Randy was. He then said one of Randy's wishes was for the entire Poffo family (including their father, famous wrestler and promoter, Angelo Poffo) to be inducted into the Hall together, saying that Randy didn't want to go in by himself. Some saw that as Lanny trying to weasel his way into "relevance" again, but those people have no idea what the truth really is. With Poffo appearing on WWE projects, it might be fair to assume that there is enough of a working relationship there to allow Lanny to handle the induction. The thing that really works against Lanny here is that he isn't exactly someone well-known by the average WWE fan these days, so the announcement of his name would be met with a lot of head scratching, unfortunately.
