8 Candidates To Induct Randy Savage Into WWE Hall Of Fame

1. Vince McMahon

If we got this... well, there may never be a more anticipated speech in the history of the wrestling business. Vince McMahon has rarely ever spoken about whatever it was that was causing the heat between himself and Randy Savage over the last decade-plus, nor has he taken any time to address any of the many rumors on the subject. Some fans would approach the speech with a "car crash mentality", almost hoping that Vince lets something controversial slip. All reports state that, in better times, Vince basically saw Randy as a son or a little brother, and that's how close they were. There weren't many people in the business that the Macho Man let into his "inner circle", but Vince was there as a friend and confidant for years. His speech would, no doubt, be emotional, beautiful, intimate and memorable. Of course, it might also be a long shot, as Vince is notorious for not liking to be on camera, or even have his name mentioned, during the Hall Of Fame ceremonies. He made a noticeable exception in 2009 and 2013 when he inducted "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Donald Trump, respectively, so it isn't exactly impossible to picture him up on stage and delivering an induction speech. He might not be the most popular guy around right now, with the way fans are viewing the current WWE product, but Vince might be the biggest and best option to induct Randy Savage into the Hall should the move actually go down this year.
