8 Current WWE Stars Who (Probably) Won't Re-Sign Their Contracts
5. Cesaro
The moment Cesaro's name was uttered by Vince McMahon as an example of someone who hadn't yet grabbed the brass ring and not found that "it" quality to make him a star, the writing was on the wall in regards to his eventual WWE departure. Sure, Cesaro has hidden his lack of singles failure in wonderful tag team matches as part of some of the most successful duos in WWE, but that spotlight eventually fades. Fans are starting to witness it now as SmackDown Live rolls along without him.
Since being moved to Tuesdays, The Bar has been largely irrelevant. They dominated the tag team scene on Raw only to be shoved to the back of the blue brand and a very deep tag team roster. The more WWE chooses not to utilize Cesaro's unique skill set, the more one would have to believe he's eyeing the idea of making a run for some big money on the independent circuit. Cesaro is a star; WWE just hasn't seen it yet, nor given him a real opportunity to prove it.
There isn't a WWE Superstar today who offers a more useful combination of in-ring skill, creativity, charisma, and brains. His only issue is his mic work and even then, he's underrated.
