8 Early WWE Hall Of Fame 2016 Predictions

5. William Shatner

Alternatively, Jerry Lawler may be best-suited to discussing the latest entrant to the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall Of Fame. Over the past few years, the promotion have honoured the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mr. T, Donald Trump and Mike Tyson. All had made contributions to WWE programming since the 1980s, lending their star power to the company simply by appearing for them on-screen. William Shatner is no different, having appeared on WWE TV in various forms over the years. His latest use in the promotion has been as the narrator of the WWE Network exclusive 'Breaking Ground' show. In addition to that, he also acted as a 'Guest Host' of Monday Night Raw in 2010. It was during that show that he memorably filmed a comedy skit which had him 'singing' various entrance themes for WWE stars. That's HOF induction material in and of itself. In January 1995, Shatner starred in another memorable segment on Raw. Opposite Lawler, the actor appeared on the 'King's Court' interview show. Shortly afterwards, the pair became genuine friends, leading to Shatner being involved in Lawler's own Hall Of Fame induction. It would make sense for WWE to allow 'The King' to return the favour, inducting William Shatner in 2016.
