8 Epic Wrestling Matches That Would Be Better If They Happened Now

6. Braun Strowman Vs. Sami Zayn

When Braun Strowman first made his WWE debut in 2015, it was clear he was in over his head. Fans scoffed as the giant seemed lost in the ring, and it was obvious to all that he only had his spot because of his size. That was all true, but it was also worth mentioning that he had less than a dozen matches to his name.

When Strowman was split off on his own in 2016, he got the chance to improve, and improve he did. His first feud was against Sami Zayn, and when Zayn lasted 10 minutes in a match with him at Roadblock: End of the Line, that technically counted as a defeat for Strowman. Still, for all who saw how far he had come, it was clearly a victory.

Strowman went from strength to strength following his early tutelage under Zayn, but has since seen his momentum utterly flatline thanks to months of indecisive, inappropriate booking. Perhaps going full circle by targeting Sami Zayn, fresh but fragile from injury, would be just the tonic needed to reset the Monster Amongst Men?
