8 Forgotten WWE Superstars You Didn't Realise Were Still Listed On The Main Roster
6. Heath Slater
Was I the only one who assumed Slater had been released with the other two members of 3MB? Because prior to catching a glimpse of him listed on the WWE website I honestly had no idea he was still there. But he is still with the company and, as I alluded to in my last entry, hes still getting beaten by just about everybody he wrestles. Slater first came into the main roster as part of The Nexus before also being part of this groups break-off faction The Corre. He enjoyed some success during this time, winning the Tag Team Championship on three occasions with partner Justin Gabriel. This was to be the highlight of Slaters WWE career, as he has struggled to find much success since. After spending most of 2012 losing squash matches to a number of WWE Legends, Slater become the leader of 3MB (Three Man Band) in September, 2012. Whilst 3MB were arguably an underrated trio and the fans enjoyed seeing them, they eventually split in 2014 when the other two members, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal, were released by the WWE. After a failed tag-team run with Titus ONeil, Slater has pretty much vanished from our screens, mainly appearing on Superstars and Main Event these days as well as losing squash matches at live shows. Unfortunately for Slater I dont see him becoming a relevant Superstar again anytime soon, although I can however see his former teammate Drew McIntyre (now wrestling for Insane Championship Wrestling as Drew Galloway) making a comeback in the next couple of years.
