8 Forgotten WWE Superstars You Didn't Realise Were Still Listed On The Main Roster

4. R-Truth

Even though R-Truth appeared on TV as recently as the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in June this year, given the forgettable nature of the feud he was booked in at the time (portraying €œKing What€™s Up€ in a feud with King Barrett) you could be forgiven for not remembering this and thinking he was long gone from the WWE. And yet, he€™s still there. After a largely unsuccessful run with the WWE from 1999-2002 (although he did win the Hardcore Championship twice), R-Truth would return the company in 2008 to embark on a much more prosperous career with them on his second attempt. During this second run R-Truth has won the Tag Team Championship with partner Kofi Kingston, PWI€™s tag team of the year in 2012, and he has also enjoyed some success as a singles competitor, winning the United States Championship back in 2010. Truth has barely featured in WWE storylines since the terrible aforementioned feud with King Barrett and has mostly been relegated to wrestling at live events and on episodes of Main Event and Superstars. Apparently a large part of the reason for Truth€™s absence from WWE television is that he is trying to get his hip-hop career off the ground, although recent tweets uploaded by the Superstar when he was in Hollywood have hinted at him having a potential interest in an acting career, too. At the age of 43 it€™s unlikely that Truth will have much of a run if he returns to Raw and/or Smackdown, but as a veteran wrestler there could yet be a place for him on NXT in the future to allow younger up-and-coming wrestlers the chance to wrestle against an experienced veteran.
