8 Forgotten WWE Superstars You Didn't Realise Were Still Listed On The Main Roster

2. Damien Sandow

It is a sign of how much Sandow€™s status within the WWE has dropped that he is still listed on their website as being Macho Mandow from his failed Mega Powers alliance with Curtis €œAxelmania€ Axel. Even though the team only split up at the end of July following the controversy surrounding Hulk Hogan, Sandow may have already become a distant memory for some fans. Since debuting on the main roster in 2012 Sandow has had mixed success. He received a push quite early on in his run, winning the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2013, however he would subsequently become the first (and only) Superstar to lose in their championship match after cashing in. By WrestleMania this year Sandow was arguably more over with the fans than he€™d ever been as a result of his character Damien Mizdow, the stunt double for The Miz. However, WWE failed to capitalise on his new-found popularity and in the months that followed Sandow€™s career has gone progressively downhill, reaching the stage where it is at now. Despite being relegated to wrestling in matches away from WWE television Sandow still seems to be popular with the fans, as shown by the €œSandow Appreciation Day€ that trended on Twitter in August following the endorsement of WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. Given that Sandow€™s still seems to be popular among certain sections of the WWE Universe, you have to wonder why WWE haven€™t brought him back to the main storylines and this something we all hope happens sooner rather than later. In fact, how awesome would it be if Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns announced €œSan-Dowllins€ as their mystery partner to join The Shield at Night of Champions this Sunday.
