8 HUGE WWE Evolution Predictions You Need To Know

7. Women's Battle Royal

Evolution Predictions

Our second spot-filler of the night sees everyone WWE couldn't concoct a meaningful storyline thrown together at once. There's good and bad to this: the bout is an afterthought, but those involved definitely deserves to be there, and it's impossible to begrudge any of their place in history (or their pay-per-view payday).

Much of the bout's intrigue comes from the returning names, with Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Ivory, Kelly Kelly, Molly Holly, and - amazingly - Alundra Blayze all set to compete. The last is the most interesting. The major player during the women's division's formative years, Blayze, 54, hasn't wrestled since 2000, and recently underwent major hip surgery. The battle royal format should keep her protected, but we probably shouldn't expect anything particularly physical.

That the winner will receive a future Raw or SmackDown Women's Title shot all but guarantees someone on the full-time roster takes this big bad banter bout. Barring the nightmarish scenario of the self-anointed saviour of women's wrestling, Stephanie McMahon, somehow taking this, let's be optimistic and assume the company start this undermined star's rebuild...

Winner: Asuka.
