8 HUGE WWE Evolution Predictions You Need To Know

6. Trish Stratus & Lita Vs. Alexa Bliss & Mickie James

Evolution Predictions

This match's final form is yet to be confirmed. Reports had Alexa Bliss pulling out earlier this week, with Alicia Fox (who's been involved in the angles leading to Evolution) substituted in, but Mickie James has now contradicted this by stating 'The Goddess Of WWE' will be in action on Sunday night. We probably won't know for sure until the entrance music hits, though most fans will presumably be hoping for Alexa to pull through.

Regardless of how it pans out, this is a well-built bout. Roping Lita and Trish in for several weeks of television was smart. It has helped elevate the clash beyond a straightforward tale of Attitude vs. modern day, and with Stratus and James' history to capitalise on, there's now significant appeal.

Lita looked a little uncoordinated in the women's Royal Rumble, but she'll have known about this bout for months, giving her ample time to prepare. Expect plenty of smoke and mirrors, particularly on the babyface side, and for the safe, experienced James to guide long stretches of the action. She's gonna take the pin, though...

Winners: Trish Stratus & Lita.
