6. Edge Vs. Finn Bálor

On paper, this is the sort of cool match fans fantasy booked when Edge made his crowd-pleasing 2020 return.

A clash long thought lost to the 'Rated-R Superstar's injuries, a battle with Bálor was teased in 2021 when Edge's Royal Rumble win gave him he chance to fight for any title he wanted. After binning NXT Champion Finn off, the two never came close to one another. Now, it'll be only be surrender that conclusively tears them apart.

WWE have a tremendous opportunity to provide a satisfying conclusion to this specific chapter while simultaneously continuing on with the wider Judgment Day story too. On the go-home Raw, Edge made it explicitly clear that Bálor couldn't do anything physically to make him quit. A babyface has to stay true to his word, but this surely foreshadowed the heels forgoing his body to tackle his mind.

All this promises another terrible night for Rey Mysterio. The group can threaten to unmask the icon - Dominik should be the one holding the hood - to force Edge into quitting. In much the same way AJ Styles was decked on Raw, Edge losing would be another sacrifice Rey has forced his friend to make.

Winner - Finn Bálor
