8 HUGE WWE Extreme Rules 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

7. Liv Morgan (c) Vs. Ronda Rousey

What exactly have WWE got in Liv Morgan?

Or, more specifically, what do they want to have in her? Though not totally doomed by her banana skin SummerSlam title defence against Ronda Rousey, nothing in her run so far has elevated her to anything beyond paper champion. Worse still, the lone attempt to do that - a clean-as-a-sheet victory over Shayna Baszler at Clash At The Castle - was the weakest match on an otherwise hugely memorable and significant show.

In that time, Rousey has been babyfaced by wrecking security, police and authority figures, and feels as though she'll have the crowd in this weapons brawl too. This has to be the abandonment of the Liv Morgan experiment (for now), and the commencement of Rousey and a returning Baszler to run roughshod over a weak blue brand women's division.

The company kicked off the road to Ronda Rousey/Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. Recent failings elsewhere shouldn't result in a mindless course correction of that.

Winner - Ronda Rousey
