8 HUGE WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Charlotte Flair (c) Vs. Ronda Rousey

Traditionally the rematch pay-per-view anyway, WrestleMania Backlash is no stranger to being saddled with repeat offerings from the 'Show Of Shows'. But not a lot of folk seemed to want Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey to be included in that potential collection of second attempts.

Quality is everything here. Their Survivor Series 2018 bout was a contemporary classic, but even measured expectations were simply not met on WWE's 'Grandest Stage'. Rousey might not have the former in her locker anymore, but both will be keen to prove that WrestleMania's output was the exception rather than the rule.

The seemingly obvious outcome makes for a slightly brighter future too. 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' becoming Women's Champion again might help breathe some life into the blue brand's beleaguered female division, and give Flair a much-needed break from television as the company attempts to steer itself out of a post-WrestleMania lull.

Winner - Ronda Rousey
