3. Adam Cole
Although he has come out on a number of occasions and stated that WWE isn't on his horizon for the time being, there is a certain inevitability about Adam Cole eventually turning up on the biggest screen in professional wrestling. Despite seemingly being around the indie scene forever, Cole is still only 26 years old, and time is on his side. There are good reasons why his name pops up whenever previous indie-standouts who now find themselves in WWE are asked who should eventually follow. Since turning heel a few years back and adopting his Panama City Playboy persona he has been without question one of the top names on the entire scene. By the time he makes it to WWE, Cole will have developed the entire set of skills required to succeed at the top level. Much like Bryan he isn't the biggest, but he makes up for this with his work in the ring, and is of the calibre of worker already that makes for good to great matches regardless of the size and ability of the opponent. He is also fantastic when it comes to the more light-hearted side of pro wrestling, as Bryan was. As such, it is very easy to imagine the WWE Universe taking him to their hearts in the future.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
