8 Last-Minute Predictions For WWE Clash Of Champions 2017

4. A Last-Minute Match

Take out Mojo Rawley versus Zack Ryder (which is expected to go down on the pre-show) and Clash of Champions only has six matches, one of which - The Bludgeon Brothers' bout with Breezango - will likely last no longer than five minutes.

They're going to have a big gap to fill, in other words, and there's a substantial body of evidence to suggest they will fill that gap with a last-minute match that nobody really cares very much about (in the vein of TLC's Jason Jordan versus Elias, to give a recent example).

Apart from Charlotte and Natalya, none of SmackDown's female cast have much - besides being lumberjacks - to keep them busy, so if we had to stick our neck on the line we'd probably plump for one or all three of the recent NXT grads in either singles or tag action against the main roster women they've been butting heads with of late.

Actually, that's a match that easily could have commanded an advertised spot on the card - so, if they do end up throwing it in at the death, it would really make you wonder why they didn't just announce it last week.
