8 Lesser Known Wrestling Streaks
7. Tatanka
In terms of name recognition, Tatanka doesn't exactly stand out compared with the other names on this list, but - this might shock you - the North Carolina-native went more than eighteen months without defeat during his original WWE run in the early-90s.
It took until October 1993, when he was beaten - thanks to some shenanigans - by Ludvig Borga. Prior to that, though, he recorded television victories against the likes of Rick Martel, Giant Gonzalez and even Shawn Michaels (albeit on count-out, without the Intercontinental title changing hands).
As is so often the case, the first defeat opened up the floodgates, and his status as a promising up-and-comer quickly dissipated. Wrestling can be cruel sometimes, but Tatanka can, nevertheless, be proud of his little-known year-and-a-half long winning streak.
