8 Live Observations From WWE Post-WrestleMania Monday Night Raw
2. The DX Theme Plays And It’s Weird
An ad break during a contenders match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles wasn’t doing much of anything when the D-Generation X theme played.
The crowd, understandably, popped. Then stopped and looked, confused, towards the ramp. The wrestlers did too. Why wouldn’t they?
Then, it stopped, the “you f*cked up” chants kicked off, and the women’s were forced to get their heads screwed back on to finish the match.
They did, to be absolutely fair to them. Sasha Banks rules so hard and remains in the top 5% of all WWE wrestlers in terms of star power that it doesn’t matter where she features on the card. The match concluded with a split angle between the losers Rhea Ripley, with the breakup heavily followed despite the actual collpaser.
