8 Live Observations From WWE Post-WrestleMania Monday Night Raw

1. Kevin Owens And Ezekiel

Kevin Owens was a riot explaining away his loss to Stone Cold Steve Austin before a name splashed across the screen briefly convincing Dallas that former ECW Champion Big Zeke had made an unlikely return to the company.

It was in fact something entirely different but something remarkably well received.

The former Elias arrived, clean shaven and with the gear he was pictured in months ago before the gimmick was apparently scrapped. It took a minute, but the sheer bewilderment shared by both the crowd and Owens himself made the whole thing oddly relatable.

Whilst this couldn’t match the legendary night the two shared getting all-timer local sports team heat in 2018, it was a fun diversion for Owens and an ostensibly popular way to introduced the rebadged star.

Could be dead in a month of course, but on a night with another significant debut, this did well to keep some of Dallas’ weary attentions.
