8 Major Ramifications Of Roman Reigns' WWE Suspension

8. The Draft Is Shaken Up Even More

When the original draft was conceived in 2002, part of the reasoning for its implementation was that you could only see Steve Austin on Raw, and The Rock on SmackDown. Each star would lead their respective brand, and if you wanted to see both of them, you’d have to watch both shows.

The rumors this time around were that Raw and SmackDown would now be featured around Roman Reigns and John Cena. After all, they are Vince McMahon’s two top babyfaces, and that way they wouldn’t have to be competing with one another for supremacy.

But with the falling ratings and suspension, is Vince finally going to give up on Roman as the end-all-be-all? Will he even bother to separate him from Cena now? Perhaps he’s counting on Dean Ambrose, or a babyface Seth Rollins, or a large supporting cast to carry one of the shows in his place. It would be hard to blame the boss if that's the direction he chooses.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
