If you've ever watched The Chaperone or Inside Out, you would know that Triple H isn't exactly going to be nominated for an Oscar at any point in his life due to his acting ability. With that said, go and watch any of the numerous promo battles between Trips and Punk. Wait for Punk to deliver his lines, and then look at Triple H's face. Do you see the look of unadulterated hatred on his face whenever Punk makes fun of him, his friends, or the members of his family? You've seen his acting ability... you go ahead and say whether or not he's pretending to be angry there. This is the same man who once looked as if he were terribly constipated, shaking and all, when trying to convey anger on television. He's able to be read like a book. If you see him on Raw, and he looks like he's pissed off, that's because he is pissed off. A lot of the hatred towards Triple H comes from perception, just or unjust. People look at Triple H, they listen to his promos, they hear backstage rumors, and it helps them form an opinion that Trips simply looks down his nose at people, thinking he's better than they are. Seeing his interactions with Punk did nothing to change those opinions. His looks towards Punk just screamed "I'm bigger than you, I'm more successful than you, and you never would have amounted to anything if I had anything to do with it, so how dare you speak negatively about me". On the flip side, Punk seemed to find great joy in antagonizing Trips on a weekly basis. You could see on his face that he was going out of his way to try and break Trips down, and that helped to make for more fun television to watch.
