Honestly this entry writes itself, and I'd wager that if you were to make a list like this for every wrestler from the modern era CM Punk would make his way on to well more than half of them. The soon-to-be UFC fighter and former WWE superstar has never been shy about making his feelings of distaste known, and one of his main gripes when he walked out of the company back in 2014 was that he and other full-time roster members were being cast aside in favor of part-timers. Tired of seeing prominent spots like WrestleMania main events go to men who weren't working 365 days a year in the company, Punk began to lash out and voice his frustrations in both real and kayfabe arenas. For his part, Batista was asked if his coming back and being given a push was a contributing factor in Punk's departure, and he replied that initially he didn't believe so but grew curious, "So I called him, and he never called me back. So I really don't know what that was all about", adding that the two had been on good terms in the past. I think we all know the truth here. It was just CM Punk being CM Punk. Batista and Punk are friends outside-the-ring but it's clear that the Straight-Edge Superstar resented Big Dave strolling in and taking those big-money spots while he busted his ass every weekend doing house shows.
