8 Massively Underrated AEW Entrance Themes
1. TH2 - Hybrid Flow
Given the recent expiration of Jack Evans’ contract, it seems highly improbable that we’ll ever seen him together with Angelico (who has been retained) as TH2 in an AEW ring again. One of the many teams to debut on the shows preceding Dynamite’s launch, they quickly dropped off of the radar as the tag ranks began to swell, not making the cut for either the either iteration of the Casino Battle Royale despite being loosely established as a part of the Hardy Family Office.
The pair appeared just three times on Dynamite in 2021, with only one of those being a 2v2 tag match. Given that they were usually given the ‘jobber entrance’ or came out as a larger collective on the rare occasions they did appear, all but the most ardent followers of Dark and Dark: Elevation are likely unfamiliar with the auditory pleasure of ‘Hybrid Flow’.
The introductory ten second vocal element feels unnecessarily forced, but the chilled-out loop that follows is hugely calming. It makes for a great background listen and certainly could’ve helped distinguish Evans and Angelico in a packed division had they been able to stand out more as a team in the ring.
