8 Matches That Should Have Headlined WrestleMania (If WWE Had Listened To The Fans)
4. The Undertaker Vs. Sting - Any WrestleMania
The Undertaker vs. Sting may well go down in history as the greatest WrestleMania match that never happened. Whilst the match itself almost certainly would not have been a five-star classic, as a pure spectacle it is difficult to think of a bigger missed match in company history.
The match has only been possible on a couple of occasions, but The Undertaker vs. Sting was annually a WrestleMania main event match that fans were truly desperate to see. When Sting finally arrived in WWE in late 2014, it seemed a given that the bout was going to eventually happen, yet for reasons that aren't clear it never came to be.
The irony is that by the time Sting arrived in WWE, many fans were over the idea of a match with The Undertaker. Despite this, the bout would have been a popular main event at pretty much any WrestleMania, and when people put together their dream WrestleMania cards featuring matches that didn't happen, this one usually tops the bill.
