8 Men Who Could Be The Last WWE WrestleMania 35 Andre Battle Royal Entrant

6. Dolph Ziggler

In the days leading up to this year's Royal Rumble, Dolph Ziggler promised fans that for the first time in a decade, he'd not be entering the eponymous match. That the 'revelation' barely caused a murmur amongst the wrestling community spoke volumes of how stale The Showoff's showings had become.

On the night, Ziggler 'shocked' the world (!) when he emerged as the number 28 entry. Not even a pin losing its fight with gravity bothered to mark the occasion (even if for the first time in ten years, Dolph did do something notable in laying a boot on Nia Jax's face).

A year prior, Ziggler pulled the same bait-and-switch, dramatically 'retiring' before showing up unannounced in Royal Rumble 2018's final position - to the indifference of just about everybody. Unexpected, often irrelevant appearances in battle royals is sort of Dolph's thing now. Having been away touring his comedy show since January, WrestleMania 35's Andre seems the perfect time for him to deliver his most well-worn gag once more.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
