8 Most Anticipated Potential And Upcoming UFC Fights

4. Conor McGregor Vs. Nate Diaz 3

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have fought twice already and each split the fights one apiece. Nate won the first fight by 2nd round submission and Conor won the second fight by five round majority decision. Everyone knows this already because everyone watched it.

Conor moved on from this win to fight and beat Eddie Alvarez for the Lightweight title. From there fans hoped that Nate would get the first title shot at the newly crowned champ. Instead, Conor went on to have a massive crossover fight with Floyd Mayweather which sold 4.3 million pay per views (second most all time).

Nate has teased a comeback, but hasn’t fought again since the second fight with McGregor. He’s currently scheduled to fight Anthony Pettis next month at UFC 241. A win may even put him back on a collision course with McGregor, who currently doesn’t have an opponent booked, but who knows at this point.

All we know is that ever since the conclusion of their second fight, fans have been dying to see the third fight happen. The challenge from Conor to Nate - “Meet me at Lightweight for the third,” - still has fans waiting in anticipation.
